We are holding secular study meetings in English every Tuesday at the beautiful Cornish Library, 20 West Gate, from 6:30 until 7:30 pm. We will usually be in Room B. Because we are just renting the room during these times, the location is subject to change.
Topics will include spiritism in general, the nature of spirits and the spirit world, mediumship and spiritual phenomena, spiritual progression, natural law, and others.
Anyone interested may attend; there are no fees involved.
On the last Tuesday of each month, we collect donations for Main Street Project before and during our public meeting at the Cornish Library, from 6pm until 7:30. Anyone is free to drop off donations for MSP during this time.
Our next donation collection will be on Tuesday, January 28th.
We offer courses in spiritism as a 2-year program of continuous study, working to prepare a group for more advanced charitable activities such as energy healing and group mediumship meetings.
Our courses are running on Thursday evenings. Our next start date is currently to be determined.
Any who want to learn about spiritism are welcome. There are no fees or costs involved.
If you have any questions you can email us at info@wpgspiritist.ca or message us on social media.
Our organization was built as a common ground for those seeking to learn and practice Spiritism, whether they are secular or religious, and no matter what religion they might practice. All our activities are free, run by volunteers, and all are welcome!
Our organization's current activities include:
Study meetings for those interested in learning about spirits, the spirit world, spiritual progress, mediumship, and other spiritual phenomena, as taught by highly advanced spirits through various mediums. Spiritism teaches that understanding ourselves and our existence in a clear, rational way can bring consolation and strength.
Collection of non-perishables to support Main Street Project in helping those experiencing poverty. Spiritism teaches that charity is essential to spiritual progress, that the true decrease of our own soul's suffering, as well as the spiritual advancement of our world, can only be accomplished by working to decrease the suffering of others.
Spiritism courses for those interested in organized study of Spiritism. Introductory courses lead to more advanced study in a 2-year continuous program, preparing students for group activities such as channelled energy healing and spirit communication meetings. All are welcome to take these free courses, whether for practical or merely educational purposes.
This website also includes:
An explanation of the basics of Spiritism in a Q&A format, with references, for those interested in understanding what Spiritism is.
Links to free e-book downloads, including the core Spiritist books of Allan Kardec's codification as well as more contemporary Spiritist literature.
Information about our society, including our current corporate objects and bylaws, for those interested in understanding our organization in depth.
As our organization grows and advances, we work towards more advanced Spiritist activities, including spiritual aid through energy healing, and mediumship meetings, under the guidance of our organization's spirit mentors.
